Mick,
You helped shape my early years, for good and bad (I can’t forget the poisonous berries!), and you often bored me to tears with tales of your exploits in the TA, and on the river bank.
But as brothers we shared a special bond, and I gather, our children and cousins think of us as 2 book ends, often standing by a bar cradling a pint. Those were the days !!
So thank you for the good times Mick, and the happy memories that you’ve given all of us.
Time now to rest and enjoy the fishing. “And away ……..”
With love from Colin, Rita, Sue, Alan and Julie xxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
